My name is Marlena. I was born and raised in Honduras but moved here to New Orleans when I was 13. I have been in the restaurant business ever since. I mean, I went to school and studied and all, but even at 14 I would go to school during the day and help out in the cocina with the dishes at night. I am happy to help out mis papas and support them. They fought some crazy obstacles to come here. My parents are my heroes. New Orleans is our home.
