
Thomas Woodin grew up in New Orleans and was educated in parochial schools there. He received his B.A. in Liberal Arts and M.F.A. in sculpture from the University of New Orleans. His many work experiences include the construction industry and as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital. He taught Visual Arts in the Gifted and Talented program in Orleans Parish and provided instruction in woodworking and construction at Chalmette High School (CHS) where his classes have built many of the sets you see in CHS theater productions. He is an avid fly fisherman and birder and continues to paint and create sculpture.
