Joshua Edward Bennett lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and works both there and in New Orleans. He is the gallery manager at Tinney Contemporary, a commercial art gallery in Nashville. Bennett received his his BFA with a concentration in painting and drawing in 2006 at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and in 2019 his MFA from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2019 with a concentration in digital arts.

Bennett has exhibited work in solo exhibitions at Good Children Gallery and Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans., and has participated in numerous two-person and group exhibitions. He has been a contributing member of the artist-run space Good Children Gallery since 2015.
