Emily Rennie was born in south Jackson, Mississippi, and raised by a single mother in both Jackson and Lake Mary, FL. She is inspired by the color usage, imagery, and whimsy of Disney Legend, Mary Blair.

Rennie's chosen art medium is textiles, leaning towards home décor and small gift items. She loves color and for her, the brighter, the better. Almost all of her projects are one of a kind pieces.
