I am a photojournalist, artist and writer. My career began on the staff of a weekly newspaper in south Louisiana performing every aspect of newspaper production. Most of my career, 32 years, was spent as a staff photographer for the Times-Picayune. I worked daily photographing every aspect of life in New Orleans covering the good and the bad, the aesthetically beautiful and the ugly, the sane and the profane. My favorite images remain the ones that defined authentic New Orleans and its neighborhoods. My art submissions reflect those images.
