Dona Simons studied classical realism at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), the oldest art school in the country. Her work combines technical skill, imagination and a passion for Louisiana culture. She is a member of the Fellowship of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
