Domonique Chanel Smith is born and raised in New Orleans and is a self-taught mixed media artist creating wall and functional art. She is inspired by nature's beauty. She has always been a creative, but in 2020 when the word seemed so chaotic, she evolved her talents to a new level. Wanting to do something extra special for her parents 40th wedding anniversary, she created her first work on art. Within two months her work was available in two home furnishing stores. Currently, her works are available in four places throughout Louisiana and she is looking to expand her reach within and outside of Louisiana. Her work of art has been described as wall jewelry and she enjoys the opportunity to create jewels for the homes of her collectors.
