Cecilia "CC" Givens, New Orleans born and raised, is an artist, visual arts teacher, art mentor, ASL instructor/interpreter, 3rd degree black belt in KBK and lay monk in Northern Shaolin, youth community organizer since 2000 with ACT (All Congregations Together) and now Isaiah Institute, and presently Artist Mentor at Living School.
She is working with the CCC to continue the care and community spirit in our neighborhoods that makes New Orleans home.
