
Bianca Walker is a drip painter working with Black archival imagery. She was born in Berkley, California; her first exposure to art was paintings on fences and trains. After enrolling in a Digital Art program at Baton Rouge Community College for a year, Walker transferred to Grambling State University where she received a BA and participated in exhibitions and academic conferences across Louisiana. After graduating she entered the MFA program at the University of New Orleans where she is expanding on her practice and developing research on the African Diaspora and lost archival histories.
