Alma Bryan Powell was born in New Orleans. She received a BFA in Painting from Howard University in 2002 and an MFA in Studio Art from University of California Davis in 2005. Exhibitions include the New Orleans National Conference of Artists: Martin L. King exhibit and the St. Tammany Art Association’s 47th Annual Summer show.
