Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital Art Walk

The artist and children’s book author, Asher Robinson, was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and raised on Pawleys Island. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 and returned to live in Murrells Inlet. There he began painting characteristic low country fish and birds in a quickly brushed, paint-spattered style on wood panels. During spring and summer, he sells art to visitors along the picturesque Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, painting on the spot to the delight of his audiences.
