Zoroaster Temple I (brown frame)

In the magnificent Grand Canyon of the Colorado River, the famous landmarks, Brahma Temple (left) and Zoroaster Temple (right), stand out on the horizon, viewed from the South Rim of the Canyon. Climbers are attracted to these formations for their particular challenges.
Brahma Temple (7,651 feet) stands north-northeast of Zoroaster Temple (7,123 feet) and is closer to the North Rim of the Canyon. Both are on the north side of the river itself and northeast of Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Canyon, where we stayed for a couple of nights.
