Phillipson Premium "Dry Fly Special" model which is considered the highest grade in the Phillipson line up.

The rod is 8 Foot 6 Inches in 3-2 configuration with 2 matching tips (tips are 2 1/2 and 3 inches short with no effect on casting). The rod is beautiful and original right down to the Phillipson patented shaped cork grip and black reel seat. Silks are Black and tipped Gold and Black as per original Phillipson rods. Production of the Premium Grade lasted from 1947 to 1954. Rod comes with it's original sock and a Phillipson (Pacemaker) storage tube.
