Jimmy Craig Womble is one of North Carolina's youngest and most exciting talents to emerge on the art scene in recent years. Born and raised in Rocky Mount and graduate of the Design School at North Carolina State University, Womble knows the local landscape well and has chosen it as his subject of choice. "Favorite subjects of mine are the rural and coastal landscape of eastern North Carolina," writes Womble. "Haunting boat yards and docks up and down the Outer Banks of NOrth Carolina, I'm always searching for that unique subject to paint."
