The painting "Local Diner" was inspired by Miles Cafeteria, located on the corner of Marietta and Main Street in historic downtown Gastonia. My family has owned and operated a family store in Carrollton Ohio for four generations and it has made me respect and appreciate old buildings. I am inspired by nostalgic buildings and the stories behind them.
