"Joyful Health" is a colorful composition depicting a community's relational response to a successful health care system. Doctors, nurses, health practitioners and patients literally jump for joy. Intended to be a celebration of health, the work dances with color and line and strikes a presence, filling an 8' x 4' framework.
This painting is also used for the front cover of Arts & Health's Coloring Book Volume I which includes line drawings of 16 artworks in the Duke University Hospital Permanent Art Collection.
