I have an almost shoebox full of this century old Italian branch coral. It was from Ebrima, one of my African trade dealers and it was a seven strand necklace that was falling apart in taters. He begged me to buy it to keep him going and for the age of it all.

He knows my philosophy is “the older the better”. I have been slowly using it through the years and paired it with one turquoise bead.
