MSP Terminal 1, Beginning of Concourse G
One hundred years ago, during and right after the First World War, Minnesota farmers and flour millers provided food aid that saved the lives of millions in 45 countries in Europe. The children of Belgium wrote powerfully moving letters of appreciation after the war to thank America for saving their lives.
This exhibit tells the story and shares ten heartwarming letters of gratitude written in response to one of the largest humanitarian efforts in history.
