Simply put, Street and Travel Photography by Minnesotan Artist Timothy Harmon is an exhibition that celebrates exploration. Each image presents a candid scene from Harmon’s travels depicting people interacting with their local environments, offering viewers a moment to consider their connection to people and places both strange and familiar.

From bustling markets to serene landscapes and intimate everyday moments, Street and Travel Photography invites you into those spontaneous moments of discovery while exploring locally and abroad.

Artist Statement
In 2005, I purchased a DSLR camera before my first trip to South Africa. On that trip, I discovered my passion for photography. Throughout my travels, I look for unique settings that create compelling photos. I am fascinated by how people interact with their surroundings, and by the stories told through a single moment captured by a camera.
