A Perfect Day at the Lake

As a Minnesotan who swims year-round and lives in the city, there's nothing better than swimming in a lake. All summer I'm able to swim at a public beach within minutes of home. Every day the lake is a beautiful sight. For me, going to the lake is the quintessential Minnesota experience. I created this work to greet travelers with flowers and a trip to the lake. Tiles for my mosaic work are globally sourced, selected for color and quality. I work with an indispensable team: Studio MVP Eric Sommers, Carol Zen, Lefty Christenson, and George Hansen.
