Pet Portrait Head Study

The perfect gift or memorial for that special someone - A great size that is easy to mat and frame that can be found at any craft or home store. Perfect for yourself or a gift for someone else!

How much will it cost? Single subject pet portrait head shot, plain/minimal background on a 6" x 6" x 1/8" Gessobord panel is $160.

What is a "Gessobord"? It's a thin sturdy wood panel (called hardbord) with a coating of professional artists’ grade acid-free acrylic gesso primer.

How do I pay for my portrait? Select "Purchase Request" and fill out the form. Once I've replied to your request, and your order is placed, payment can be sent by e-transfer to [email protected]

What do you need from me? I will require three very clear high resolution photographs in the form of a .jpg file. Close up head and shoulder shots work well. Outdoor or bright ambient light is preferred to be able to see the colouring and detail of your furry best friend.

How long will my commission take? I take great care and detail in creating a pet portrait for you knowing how important your furry family member is. Pet portrait commissions could take up to 2 months (or possibly more) to create depending on the complexity of the image, or I may also be working on other commissions, which means you may have to wait. The portrait will also need drying time after the protective varnish is applied. **If this is a gift for someone else, please let me know ahead of time, I will do my best to accommodate a shortened deadline.

Shipping and Payment:
*Payment must be made upfront, and in full by email money transfer, cheque or cash.
*Shipping is not included in the commission price quoted.
*Shipping will be calculated once I have your shipping address and the paintings size, material and weight has been confirmed.
*Shipping of your painting will always require a signature & will come with a tracking number.
*Alternately, pick up is available from my studio in Guelph, Ontario.

*I take great care in my work, but if you are not completely satisfied please let me know. Arrangements can be made for a refund once the pet portrait is returned me.
