This piece is closely tied with the journey my sister took (Camino de Santiago) and her distress at not having an expected Epiphany at the end of the journey. I'd asked her, as she finished up her 500 mile walk, to begin gathering stones for every thought that felt questioning, disappointed, judgmental, anxious... and when she got to the end of the world, to take those stones and toss them to the sea. Our phone calls, over such long distance and time, were profound. I appreciated all she went through to let go.
