This piece creates a mixture of feelings and can be held in so many directions. With her on her back, she is swimming in a sea, a red sky filled with faces float from her or fall. Turned the other way, she swims above a sea of red, connecting to the dismembered expressions. Are they the many masks we wear? Yet, my choice is to hang her walking powerfully through the many gazes and faces of her journey; connected or not, we are seen in so many more ways from the way we believe ourselves to be.
