🎨 The Story Behind the Painting:
Enzo Ferrari Everyone knows the story of Enzo Ferrari. This portrait is my own interpretation, painted in Ferrari red, with Italy as the backdrop.
I wanted to combine Enzo's passion with my own and create a unique story about the drive to always pursue the best, my best, in my own painting style.

As Enzo Ferrari famously said: "The best Ferrari I have ever built is the next one."

This portrait tells a story of passion and ambition. Of striving for greatness. Of putting in the effort, every single time.
When I paint, time and space disappear. Only the subject exists.

The Story Behind the Inspiration:
When I visited Modena and Maranello in Italy last year, I didn’t just get a glimpse into history, I felt the soul of Enzo Ferrari in the entire area.
It was alive with legacy, speed, and vision.
My Painting Process: Every painting begins with a light wash, a mix of desaturated paint, diluted with plenty of water. Once the wash dries, I move into the underpainting, a sketch in a single tone, usually red. I never use black. To create deep shadows, I layer dark Prussian blue or green over the darkest reds in the underpainting. This gives the piece depth and energy, without killing the color.
