Excerpt from artist’s Impact Statement: "The title of our comic is “Tikkun Olam” which from Yiddish is translated to "repair of the world". We chose this title because it represents the actions taken by Irena Sendler preceding the attempts of whole nations to build a new, peaceful and accepting society after the horror of war which are still not fully finished.."
