Excerpt from artist’s Impact Statement: "The very unique symbol that stood out the most was the Indian Medical Association, which is located on the bottom left corner of the picture. I chose this specifically because it was the most common used medical logo in India today and without her, today’s young female doctors would not have the ability to be a part of this profession."
