High and low tides are caused by the moon. The
Moon's gravitational pull causes the oceans to bulge out on
both the side closest to the Moon and the side farthest from
the Moon. These bulges create high tides. Three layers of
glass were used to intentionally create the bulging effect. An
opal white base was topped with transparent peacock blue.
The white waves were free form cut; then, full fused.
