Sally Friedman is a native born NY artist with studios in NYC and East Hampton. She studied at Oxford University in England with Geoffrey Rhoades and at the Art Students League in NY with Peter Blume, Joseph Hirsch and Julian Levi at which tie she was awarded the Merit Scholarship.
Ms. Friedman has had 23 solo exhibitions and her oil paintings are included in museum and corporate collections throughout the United States.
Her work was described by Holland Cotter in the New York Arts Journal as "Having painterly qualities in the impressionist style with genuine and neative feeling for color and enriching her subjects to their limit of luminosity and lushness. Sally Friedman's work is polished and complete; it is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the mind and heart"
