I love day lilies. Beauty that is only around for a single day reminds me to stop and pay attention. One of my favourites from my Ontario garden was this one which glowed like sunshine whenever it bloomed. These blossoms, covered in dew, were meant to become a painting.
Mounted on a gallery panel that can hang on your wall or sit on a shelf, the finish on this original watercolour is a translucent compound that acts as a protective matte topcoat. It seals and provides UV protection without compromising the original colours and eliminates the glare of glass between you and your painting.
