Working on this one...there was so much to love about the process. Painting these women reminded me of church mothers from my youth. My grandmother, Mother Williams, Sis. Eley, Sis. Sutton, Sis. Littlejohn and others. In a proverb I love, it says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” I believe this is most true when we are united, when we are on one accord.
