This piece is one of my favorites. I know I probably say that a lot. But it truly is because of the message. It questions whether the American dream is for me. The idea of the home, white fence, and the pursuit of happiness. There in the background, you can see layers of a home and a half flag with no stars. The figures figures painted from life. Are you wondering who was the model? I didn't realize the painting would be the way that it came out until I was finished with it.
