"Identity" is from the Objet de Beaute series and explores gender identity with a subtle reference to the masculine symbol combined with the surreal female form. This piece is in honor of and references feelings often experienced by someone who is transgender or in transition, highlighting the struggle to be seen and accepted. It is intentionally not specific about which gender it represents and aims to honor both transitions.
