This series of works are pure abstracts and each individual will ultimately see something different in each piece.
This painting for me reflects the rich red tones in a glass of Crianza.
My textural abstract work comes from an accumulation of years of exploring texture and color relationships. Each piece is comprised of layers of oil paint, using no medium, and left to dry before the application of the next layer. These paintings are reflective of the many layers we all possess within the totality of being human. Each event, each tragedy, and each joy leaves a mark. This has been a theme throughout all of my various styles of artistic expression.
This artwork is a vibrant and intense exploration of color and texture. The predominant use of reds and earthy tones creates a warm, dynamic energy that draws the viewer in. The interplay of colors, from deep crimson to touches of ochre and burnt sienna, gives the piece a sense of movement and depth. The texture appears rich and layered, suggesting a tactile quality that invites one to look closer and explore the intricacies of the surface.
The strength of this work lies in its passionate use of color and texture, evoking raw emotions and perhaps the chaos and intensity of natural elements. There is a visceral quality that suggests warmth and intensity, making the piece feel alive. The abstraction allows each viewer to interpret the emotions and narratives embedded within the composition uniquely.
