'A River Of Flowers' is part of 'Elemental' a collection that aims to radiate feelings of hope and excitement as winter fades away and spring bursts into life. Meandering brooks flow through woodlands teeming with fresh life and the colours and shapes of wildflowers peeking through the undergrowth. Some waters flow peacefully, reflecting the sky, clouds, and delicate foliage; while others rush energetically, tumbling over rocks crashing into a frenzy of spray.

I used a combination of brushes, pallet knives, and other mark-making tools to create a rich variety of marks that expressed my abstract interpretation of the joy of spring and the interaction of land and water.
