Inspired by Japanese ornamental fish i.e. Koi. 'Showa' is the Japanese name for a black and white koi with a red pattern. 6 mm thick opaque glass in a mix of black/white/red colors with parts of overlay powder print. Details in the face are of Bullseye 'Steel blue' glass, witch oxidizes to a matte metal look on the surface during firing. Mounted in a metal sheet backing welded to an iron stand. Head to the left.
