Tranquil Torbay Sunset

Acrylic artwork of a my friends sitting at the beach near home in Torbay, Auckland, NZ. There was the most stunning sunset which lit up the eastern sky. My photo references had to be 'stitched' together to get the whole vista and they really weren't great quality. I also wasn't too confident with using acrylic, but promised my friends that I would give this a go as it had a special meaning to them.
