Owls are such incredible creatures and wonderful art subjects! Really managed to loosen up on this one and make some interesting marks using newly learned techniques and really soft pastels. I loved the way this turned out and wished I had been videoing the process, so that I could remember how I did it!!! Reference Photo thanks to jayclarke1 @ Pixabay.
