This was something a little different that I didn't want to do too realistic by painting every scale, but in the end it seemed like I did, haha (hence why I chose this title)! Anyway I had lots of fun with it and using different techniques to get to the end result. Thanks to Wurliburli @ Pixabay for the amazing reference photo.
