Pieces of her original painting are still visible (the dark brown "root beer" background areas). i wanted to brighten it up and give it contemporary feel. When it was finished and i searched for a title, the predominant pink field looked like a fizzy cherry soda. The other fields (orange, white and green) compliment the pink and complete the geometric composition with other flavors of a soda fountain - orange, lime and vanilla.
