This piece was for joy of experimenting with color recipes: Colors from opposite sides of the color wheel. It could be a landscape if you believe the sky can be bright pink. I didn't worry too much about "mistakes." (There are no mistakes in aRt. I didn't worry too much about blending. i didn't worry too much about anything when i made this, which is why it is so good. I started this painting with a few color choices in mind and not much else. No objective or need to capture something recognizable. Just paint for the sheer joy of spreading beautiful, soft, intense, malleable color. My only purpose was to expose the tension between these two colors: Red Violet and at the opposite end of wheel: Yellow Green. The outcome resembled (somewhat) a rose garden or a vineyard.
