My original painting, (see: "Navy" inventory # 2010-05) image was sublimated (out-sourced) to sheer polyester fabric and developed on to another painting using water-based, non-toxic clear medium (Aquavar). The medium holds the shape that I manipulate on to the canvas without "obscuring" the beautiful design of the fabric. The sculpted canvas underneath had been a sculpted project with which I was unsatisfied. I added the sheer layer of fabric design to improve. The original sculpted painting is still visible through the sheer fabric.
