"Land Regen" is the word in German (translated: Land Rain) that I heard often growing up. My mother's family were farmers and ranchers for 8+ generations in Romania. A slow, steady rain was most desired to ensure a bountiful harvest. Dandelions were food for many creatures but are today sadly considered weeds to be eradicated. To me they are beautiful yellow, sunny joyful flowers, much needed.
This piece has custom, professional frame (2012). Has not yet been professionally photographed as I have modified it over the years. The painting was begun in about 2010/11 but was most recently modified (improved with a few dandelions) by me in 2024.
