In Mystic Roses, the familiar garden flower is transformed into a vision of transcendence. The delicate forms suggest fragility, yet their presence feels enduring, as if the roses belong equally to the earthly and the otherworldly. I designed the streaks of light in the background to suggest more than a sunset—to me, they feel like the shimmering flight paths of unseen fairies. In this realm, the ordinary garden rose becomes luminous, otherworldly, and full of wonder.
