Folded linen on a wood base with vintage buttons tied into netting that has been dyed with black walnuts. The folds on this piece spoke to me of fancy dress shirts. I love the contrast between the weight of the buttons and the lightness of the netting… the formality of the folded linen and the informality of the draped buttons!
