About the series:

"Dreams and Depth" evolved over three years across diverse oceanic locations during Seawalls: Artists for Oceans projects with Pangeaseed. Kai's immersion in the ocean and exploration of ocean issues sparked thematic dreams featuring sharks, hybrid sea creatures, and playful interactions. Inspired by reactions to his mural work, cascading drips in Kai’s watercolor paintings became a focal point, drawing attention and highlighting the power of perception. This repeated style, particularly in paintings of sharks, froze movement and created an intriguing juxtaposition with the dynamic subjects depicted.
