"SOME THINGS ARE JUST USELESS NOW" depicts the astronaut floating with an inflatable raccoon in front of a massive, rusted road advertisement bearing the label "CARWASH". Intriguingly, only the letters "C", "A", "S", and "H" are illuminated, forming the word "CASH" – an ironic commentary on the worthlessness of money (and car washes) in this post-apocalyptic world. The brightly glowing moon in the sky amplifies the sense of solitude and reflection. The painting raises questions about the value and significance of things in a changed world and reminds us that what was once deemed valuable can now be rendered useless.

"MANCHES IST JETZT EINFACH NUTZLOS" zeigt den Astronauten, der mit einem aufblasbaren Waschbären vor einer massiven, verrosteten Straßenreklame schwimmt, auf der "CARWASH" steht. Interessanterweise sind nur noch die Buchstaben "C", "A", "S" und "H" erleuchtet, was das Wort "CASH" bildet - ein ironischer Kommentar zur Wertlosigkeit von Geld (und auch Autowäschen) in dieser postapokalyptischen Welt. Der leuchtend weiße Mond am Himmel verstärkt das Gefühl der Einsamkeit und Reflexion. Das Bild wirft Fragen über den Wert und die Bedeutung von Dingen in einer veränderten Welt auf und erinnert uns daran, dass das, was einst wertvoll war, jetzt nutzlos sein kann.
