My Lore and Legend series is inspired by folktales, cryptids, and all the things that feed our ongoing fascination with the unknown. Much like folklore itself, my work embraces ambiguity. Odd, unsettling figures beg an explanation, which I leave wholly up to the viewer. In this way, each piece is both an exploration of and an homage to the folktales and stories that inspire them. The series emphasizes the interplay between human and natural worlds and uses storytelling to examine the boundaries between reality and imagination.
