Inspired by Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace
Pierre after the duel. He contemplates his life and how he has been made into a fool; he feels as though he has done nothing with himself, a turning point for Pierre. He goes from insisting that “Life and love/I don’t deserve…I’ve had my time/Close my eyes/Let the death bells chime” With a shift into an urgent and almost triumphant key, this seems to be the moment in which Pierre changes his life.
End Table. Literature inspired hand-illustrated, painted, splattered and scraped, welded steel plate.
