Each Spring I wait to see what the wisteria will do. Will it have tons of blooms? Did I prune it at the right time? Did I prune it back enough or not enough? Will it be tame and well behaved? Or all wild and out of control? For whatever reason, I like that unexpected unruliness. But the blooms are what it's all about.
