Shoe-shaped "Superior Eau de Cologne" bottle with original label. Bottle was retailed by Thomas Slingerland & Company, Rome, New York. Slingerland was primarily a tobacco and cigar dealer, while his partner, George Scott, introduced them to the druggist business.
